(Formerly JaMarque Publishing)
A Brief HistoryJK Press was founded in 1998 by indie author A. M. Huff.
After completing his first manuscript, Mr. Huff searched for a publisher. He received one decline after another. So, he began to do some research and found that traditional publishing houses rarely accept new unknown authors. He interviewed several authors who told him he needed to self-publish and build an audience before any traditional publisher would even look at his work. As a result, JK Press was born. Over the years the publishing industry has changed dramatically. More and more writers are desiring to have their work published but don't know how to go about it. Mr. Huff offers to these his own insight, knowledge, and assistance. |
